Hello friends,

I created another card for the Verve Stamps Diva Dare "Tag, You're It" challenge.  I used a new embossing folder from Michaels.  It's got very pretty snowflakes.  I thought it would make the perfect touch for the card.  I created the tag and Poinsietta from a file from the Silhouette Store.  Added a little bling to both the Poinsietta and snowflakes.

Today, was the perfect day for crafting.   I took out my new stamps from and created another card for their October Diva Dare "Tag, You're It".  For this card, I used the stamps from their recent release:  Poppy Birthday stamp and die and Psalms 94:18 Plain Jane stamp.  For the tag, I used a file from the Silhouette Store and used a scrap of paper from a Stampin' UP!'s designers paper.  I added just a small bling to the poppy flower.  I love this stamp set so much and can't get enough of it.  I invite you to visit their blog and store.  There you can see the amazing and talented creations by their amazing designer team.  Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful and blessed week.

Recently, I came across this awesome blog and visited their online store. Upon seeing the awesome stamp sets and dies they sell, I was in love with their beautiful collection.  I visited their blog and could not stop reading the awesome posts and challenges they do.
I read about the Diva Dare "Tag, You're It" Challenge, so I ordered a couple of items from their recent release.

For the tag I used:  Verve Stamps: Poppy Birthday, and Psalm 94:18 Plain Jane.  Dies:  Award Winner Trim Die and the Build a Poppy Set.  I also used a few sequin's from their Pastel Sequin's Mix.  Paper used was from Stampin' UP!.

I enjoyed creating this tag and I especially loved the verse.  Often times, we feel that we have lost the battle but He is always right there next to us, loving us and upholding us.

60th Birthday Party Ideas

My mom celebrated her 60th birthday this past weekend and in her honor we celebrated with a wonderful party.

I created these small purses with my Cricut and used the Forever Young cartridge... purses cut at
3 1/2" so that I could get 2 purses per 12" sheet.  The paper is a g.c.d studios designers paper from the cosette collection that I found at Michael's on sale for $.19 a sheet.  The flowers were cut with a flower punch from Martha Stewart and emblished with a small rhinestone.

I created for her a Money Tree and on the branches I placed bows and scallop circles with the number 60.

Also, we created a Sweets table which was very tempting not to eat it all up before the party started.
We made Tamarind covered apples... which are absolutely delish.  With those we also made candy coated apples, cupcakes, chocolate fountain for strawberries and marchmellows...pretzels, hot cheetos, candies' galore.

It was an amazing party and my mom's joy was priceless.  I am blessed to have a wonderful mother in my life.

Thank you for visiting.. hope these ideas help you too.
