Birthday Cake

My card is a sweet Quinceneria (15th birthday card)... In our Hispanic tradition when a young lady turns 15 a big party is held in her honor... with this in mind, I created this simple card for 2 challenges.

My Pink Stamper has her Imagine Pink Wednesday in which the challenge is to create something Yummy with either the Imagine or Cricut... For my card, I used my Cricut and created this cake birthday card which indeed is Yummy.

More than Favors by Paula has a Wacky Wednesday Challenge # 23 (Color Challenge) the colors to use are Brown, Pink, & Green.

My Card was made with the following:

Brown Card 5 1/2(w) x 5 1/2(h) Bazzill Basics Paper (Mocha)

Green Scallop was cut at 4.25

Cake stand cut at 2.25(w) x 2.25 (h)

Cake cut at 2 (w) x 2 (h)

15 cut at .75(w) x .75 (h)

I used my Gypsy & Cricut for these cuts... the cartridge used was Sweet Treats.

Thank you for visiting.. please come back soon!.

  3. Hi Cricut Lass,

Loved your blog!.. I don't have a lot of cricut carts. so I try to combine them to make something. I have so many carts. on my wish list, hopefully soon. Quinceneria's are awesome!... they can get very expensive, just as expensive as a wedding... it's one B i g party with a beautiful Quinceneria Dress which can be just as expensive as the a wedding dress.
