Valentine Candy Bag

Hi Friends,

Today is a very cold day in Deep South Texas.. we are under a freeze warning. Since I am not going outdoors I thought I'd complete a Valentine's project for 2 Challenges.

Crafting with Cristina at has Challenge # 16 (Valentine's Day Project). This week's challenge is : Create a Valentine's Day Theme Project, as long as it's not a card.

The February Challenge prize is:
Spring Holiday Cards Cricut Cartridge!!

Challenge # 2 is from Karens-Kakes-Krafts @

Who is having her first challenge! Here is the info. from her blog...

In a previous post, I posted pictures of her giveway..

1. Make a card, or a LO for a Celebration. It can be a Birthday, Anniversary, ect., but it must be a Celebration. I chose Celebration, because Ashley at has been absent for a while, because she was moving. Well she is back!! She is still setting up the odds and ends, but she is back, and I think we need to Celebrate!! Welcome Back Ash!!!

6. Have fun, I love to have fun on my blog, and I know you guys do too, so feel free to make comments along the way, or do a wacky crazy card, or LO, or keep it simple, just have FUN!!! Please link your entry directly to this challenge, and not just to your blog!!!

Now off to my creation:

I created a candy/goodie bag that my daughter can give out at school with candies/treats... This little bag can be altered for birthday, holidays...any kind of celebration.

I used a red cardstock the color I don't recall... I had it in my scrap pile. For the base I welded 3 layers together.. I used a tag and welded a scallop circle and also welded the body from Paper Dolls for Everyday and dressed her.

I added some doodleing and bling for earrings. This project worked great for both challenges.
