My Pinkalicious Cupcake Card

As I was going thru my cartridges last night, my daughter came in and said "Mommy you should make a pink card with a cupcake for my pinkalicious party". So with that in mind, I got to work and created this card. In working on this card I started thinking of ideas to incorporate the cupcake theme into her party theme which Pinkalicious is about the color pink and cupcakes. More planning on the party to come...still have some time to get the party planning going.

For my card I cut my pink cardstock into an A2 size (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) scored at 4 1/4.

The mats I tried out my new Stampin' Up! top note die for both the center pieces...the polka dot paper was trimmed to fit within the other piece. I cut the cupcake using my Sweet Treats cartridge and cut the pieces at 3" the colors of the cardstock I don't remember because I am working on using all my scrap pieces. To add just a little more to the card I added a bow with a button at the bottom.

Wishing ya'll a wonderful Wednesday... we are almost there..(Friday) Yeah!!. We have a busy weekend upon us full of parties, a wedding which = Family time...how awesome is that!. Can't wait!.

Now, I'm off to get a cup of coffe...gotta a busy day ahead.

Thank you for visiting my blog... Again, Happy Wednesday (Hump Day) Everyone.

Father's Day Card

Father's Day Card

For this card, I used pieces of cardstock from my stash pile..

Saving odd sizes really helps to re-create a card.

On this card I used: An A2 card base, Cut the brown mat at 4x5 and the blue polka dots piece at 3x4. I used a scallop punch and a circle punch to create the ribbion. The sentiment was cut using my Cricut and the School Plantin Cartridge. I piecered it and then sewed it by hand.

I hope you've enjoyed this card. Have a fabulous day!....I'm off to drink a cup of much needed coffee.

Thank you for visiting.

Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge # 7 Manly/Father's Day Card

Scrapbookholic by Abby http://www.scrapbookaholicbyabby.com/ is hosting a Manly/Father's Day Card Challenge. I created a Father's Day card...the base is a standard A2 size. I cut the mat at 4x5 and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder..I don't remember the name of it. I had bought some Recollections Brads(Silver Screws) at Michaels and thought they would work perfect for the card. After I had the basic layout for the card... I wasn't sure what else to put on it... So I on my computer I created this collage and it worked out perfectly. I hope you have enjoyed it.

Thank you for visiting my blog!.

Color Challenge

This week My Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ is holding a color challenge...

The colors: Orange, Turquoise, Green... and any other color chould be added so I added my favorite color: Razberry Pink.

The card is a standard A2 card. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge to cut the popsicles at 3 1/2". I cut each one 3 times and popped them up with deminsionals to give them height and extra demension on the card. This picture does not show the extra demension on it. I used My Pink Stampers sentiment "Don't sweat the small stuff" from her Fabulous Phrases stamp set.

In S. TX it has been super hot and cold popsicles hit the spot.

Thank you for visiting my blog... Wishing ya'll a wonderful Sunday.

Father's Day

This wallet is perfect for giving a special dad a gift card. The inner side has 2 pockets: On one side a 3x3 card and be instered and on the other side the gift card.

Teacher's Thank You Card

This school year my daughter had a wonderful teacher that helped her excel academically and nurtured her personality.

I made this card for her to show her how thankful we were that she had been in our life this school year.

The sentiment is a Stampin UP! stamp set.

The Cardstock is also Stampin UP!: Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.

I cut the apple using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and the glasses were cut from the Paisley Cartridge. I added Glossy accents to the cute glasses to them the glass effect.

Thank you for visiting my blog...Love all of ya'll's wonderful comments.
